For the 14th Consecutive Year, Davis Malm Participates in American Heart Association’s Lawyers Have Heart Boston 5K

On June 6, Davis Malm participated in the 17^th annual Boston Lawyers Have Heart 5K road race to benefit the American Heart Association and celebrate the organization’s 100^th anniversary. This year, nearly 1,800 participants from Boston-area law firms and companies represented over 110 teams and organizations. Runners and walkers collectively raised over $400,000 thus far. This was Davis Malm’s 14^th consecutive year participating in the fundraiser and race.

Davis Malm’s 17-member team ran and walked with the support of Davis Malm’s Director of Marketing & Business Development, Joanne Thorud, who proudly served as the team captain this year. 

Since 2008, Lawyers Have Heart in Boston has raised funds to benefit the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, whose mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The Lawyers Have Heart 5K helps serve these goals by gathering together thousands of legal professionals to run and walk to promote better heart health in Greater Boston and inspire health equity for all. The funds raised from the annual event go toward research, advocacy, CPR training, and promoting better health.
