Information collected by Davis, Malm and D’Agostine, P.C. and/or Davis Malm Attorneys (referred to collectively as “Davis Malm”), is subject to this privacy policy.  By disclosing this information to us, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy, subject to the “Changes to our Privacy Policy” section below.  Davis Malm recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of our clients and website visitors, while permitting us to conduct legitimate business by providing services and information of interest to our clients and visitors.

Collection, Storage and Use of Information

We permit clients and visitors to sign up for newsletters and mailings by submitting their name, company name, address and email address to Davis Malm via the website.  The information that we receive from you through our website is possibly used to provide legal services to our clients as requested, to provide you with information about our legal services, to improve our website, as well as to develop new informational products and services, and for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes.

We will not share your email address or other individually-submitted information with parties outside of Davis Malm.  Information concerning individuals’ usage of our sites will not be disclosed to third parties except in aggregate form.

Opt Out Procedures

If you have submitted information to Davis Malm and would like to have the information deleted and/or removed from active use by Davis Malm, you may request removal at any time by emailing info@davismalm.com. You may also use the “Unsubscribe” link included in the footer of email newsletters to be removed from our mailing list. Please allow up to 7 business days for the requested deletion/removal to take effect.

Compliance with Non-U.S. Privacy Requirements

Davis Malm is aware of the 2016 General Data Protection Rules (GDPR) enacted by the European Union (EU) that seeks to impose regulatory obligations on all holders and processors of identifying “personal data” of residents of EU member states, including but not limited to obtaining and maintaining individualized informed consent for all uses of an individual’s personal data and, upon request, erasing or electronically transporting to a third party such personal data.  The Firm will take reasonable measures to comply with applicable GDPR provisions, including issuing and maintaining notices seeking consent from all EU residents listed on data bases maintained by the Firm, as well with similar data security and privacy provisions that are enacted in the future by other non-U.S. countries.
