Davis Malm Represents Safety-Kleen in Acquisition of Synergy Recycling

Davis Malm recently represented Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, Inc., in an all-cash acquisition of Synergy Recycling LLC, a leading recycler and re-refiner of used oil, and a provider of related environmental products and services in the Southeast region. Safety-Kleen is the largest re-refiner of used oil and provider of parts cleaning services in North America, and this strategic acquisition further supports its commitment to environmental responsibility and to helping clients balance their sustainability objectives with their financial goals.

Safety-Kleen was purchased in 2012 by Clean Harbors, Inc., forming the largest environmental services company in North America. Davis Malm served as Clean Harbor’s counsel in that transaction.
