On December 29, 2022, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) published the fifth edition of “Massachusetts Condominium Law,” edited by shareholder Sandy Moskowitz, who along with associates Courtney Simmons and Taylor Lovejoy, co-authored several chapters in the book. This continues the firm’s 30-year role in leading the publication of this guide. The book is a comprehensive resource full of practice-tested insights and recommendations on a wide range of condominium-related issues, such as the requirements for condominium plans, drafting concerns for master deeds and condominium by-laws, conducting unit sale transactions, understanding distinctions between condominiums and cooperatives, and addressing the purchase, sale, leasing, and financing of commercial condominiums.

This team effort continues Davis Malm’s decades-long role as a leading authority in condominium law. Sandy began serving as editor in 2017, after the retirement of Davis Malm colleague Robert Galvin, who was the guide’s editor since it first published in 1988. In addition to updating Sandy’s chapter on “Condominium Lien Law – Covenants, Obligations, and Enforcement,” which is also included in MCLE’s Massachusetts Real Estate Liens book, Sandy, Courtney and Taylor updated and revised several chapters in Massachusetts Condominium Law.

MCLE aims to keep raising the caliber of lawyers’ professional and ethical service to their clients and communities by providing comprehensive and practical continuing legal education of the highest quality to the broadest possible audience.
