Davis Malm is pleased to announce the addition of four new associates to support the firm’s growth in key practice areas. The firm welcomes Michelle R. Cassorla (Employment), Dea Ilia Coka (Divorce & Family Law), Dillon M. Knight (Litigation), and Emily Tanji (Business).

Michelle R. Cassorla joins the firm’s Employment group, representing clients in employment discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. She assists employees in negotiating employment agreements and advises employers in drafting and implementing company handbooks, restrictive covenants and severance agreements. Michelle also has extensive litigation experience in state and federal court and in arbitration.

Dea Ilia Coka joins the Divorce & Family Law practice, focusing on matrimonial planning, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, child custody and complex marital asset division. She is an experienced family law litigator and works to negotiate favorable settlements for her clients whenever possible. Dea also advises clients as part of the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court’s Lawyer for the Day Program and is a certified Conciliator through the Norfolk County Bar Association Conciliation Program.

Dillon M. Knight is a trial lawyer with the Litigation department, litigating complex commercial disputes that require sophisticated counsel. He works closely with clients to come up with creative, tactical solutions to their problems, whether it be through litigation or alternative dispute resolution.

Emily Tanji is a corporate and commercial attorney in the Business group. She serves as outside counsel to domestic and foreign-owned companies, helping them navigate corporate formation, governance and commercial matters, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
