Launching Your Practice During the Pandemic

On May 20, 2021, Davis Malm shareholder Rob Munnelly spoke at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) webinar, “Launching Your Practice During the Pandemic.” During the virtual event, Rob and fellow panelists discussed how to launch a law practice in a pandemic or post-pandemic world and provided career tips and suggestions for avoiding pitfalls. Topics included determining how to choose an effective practice focus; how to use technology to find, engage, and service clients efficiently and cost-effectively while staying within the bounds of ethics rules; and developing effective strategies for marketing, and branding. Rob focused on data security and privacy issues, including key legal and operational requirements.
