On June 12, Phil Olsen presented on the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) webinar, “Introduction to Careers in Tax Law & Tax Section Social.”. During the program, Phil and his fellow panelists provided an overview of various career opportunities and paths available for practitioners interested in a career in tax law. Panelists spoke from personal experience, having worked in several practice areas in law firms, accounting and consulting firms, and government.

“Understanding potential options is important to developing attorneys throughout different stages of their careers,” said Phil. “This program was a chance to interact with attorneys and help them explore opportunities in tax law. Sharing personal experiences can help guide attorneys in their career planning and advancement, and I discussed my experience in government, Big 4 accounting firms and law firms of various sizes, giving a perspective from multiple sectors.”
