Bar Split As Pre-Pandemic 12-Person Juries Return.” The article discusses how Massachusetts has now done away with the last “COVID-era” rule, which allowed for juries of fewer than 12 in civil cases, and what litigators in the state think of the matter.

I think the ability to connect to jurors is relatively universal…Where it’s five out of six or 10 out of 12 that you have to convince, you are speaking to each of them. You have to craft and tailor your arguments as necessary to convince all of them.
