On February 21, Davis Malm shareholder Dave Powsner moderated The Boston Entrepreneurs’ Network (ENET) webinar, “Entrepreneurs: What NOT To Do In Trademarks, Patents, And Trade Secrets.” During the program, Dave and fellow panelists discussed how entrepreneurs should protect their intellectual property (IP) to appeal to prospective investors, partners, customers and employees. They discussed the importance of IP, as well as common errors startups make with their IP and how to avoid major pitfalls while protecting IP assets, valuation, and credibility.

ENET connects early-stage entrepreneurs with information and resources necessary to transform an idea into a successful product or service business. ENET meetings and webinars have been instrumental in the formation of many startups and provide an important venue for meeting participants and members to network, talk about their ideas, showcase their startups, and conduct business.
