Davis Malm represented project advisory firm Helmes & Co, LLC in its merger with Veritas Advisory Group, a SOCOTEC Company and leading group in testing inspection and certification in the building and infrastructure sectors. The partnership will enhance Helmes & Co’s capabilities in providing clients and law firms strategic insights into construction and engineering project management and expand Veritas’ services into Boston, the Northeast and internationally.

As part of the transaction, Philip Helmes will continue leading his team in his new role as Principal and Regional Director, joining Veritas’ nationally renowned team of consultants advising clients across a variety of end markets including rail, airport, highway, bridge, tunnel, powerplant, oil and gas, chemical, wastewater treatment, as well as residential and commercial building projects.

Davis Malm attorneys Larry Casey and Dan Janis served as legal counsel on the transaction. Larry has over 30 years of experience successfully advising employers, representing employees, and litigating employment-related matters on behalf of executives, professionals and employers in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and agency hearings.
