Davis Malm announces recent leadership changes heading into 2025. Chris Marino was elected as the firm’s president, effective January 1, 2025. Chris succeeds Amy Fracassini, who served as president since 2018. After serving for ten years on the firm’s Executive Committee and seven years as president, Amy decided to step back from her leadership roles and transition firm governance. She will continue to focus on her transactional practice, representing clients in business matters involving mergers, acquisitions, and sales of businesses; debt and equity financings; private placements; and real estate clients in matters regarding commercial leasing and purchase and sale agreements.

Chris joined Davis Malm in 2006 and has served on the firm’s Executive Committee since 2018. In addition to his new role as president, Chris will continue to practice as a business and trial lawyer, representing companies and individuals on a broad range of issues, including commercial, probate, real estate, employment, land use and construction matters.

“I am honored to serve as Davis Malm’s president and preserve the leadership legacy set by Amy,” said Chris. “Her vision and dedication have positioned our firm for continued success, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to build on that foundation. Together, we will remain focused on delivering exceptional results for our clients and fostering a culture of collaboration within the firm.”

Amy said, “It has been a privilege to serve as president and work alongside such talented and dedicated colleagues to advance our shared mission of providing outstanding legal services. I have every confidence that with Chris at the helm, the firm will reach even greater heights.”

In addition, Shareholder Rich Sampson was also elected to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee alongside returning committee members Jim Gallagher and Chris. Rich joined Davis Malm in 2014 as a shareholder and established the firm’s Intellectual Property practice.
