On May 13, 2019, Sandy Moskowitz presented on the recent Appeals Court decision in Rauseo v. Board of Assessors of Boston, 94 Mass App. Ct. 517 (2018), at the May 2019 spring meeting of The Abstract Club. That recent decision allows municipalities to tax, for the first time, parking rights reserved by condominium developers, opening up what could prove to be a lucrative income stream for cash-strapped cities and a new concern for developers.

Founded over 150 years ago, The Abstract Club is comprised of lawyers who are considered leaders in the field of real estate law. Membership is limited to 100 lawyers in Massachusetts and is by invitation only. Sandy is a longstanding appointed member.
