Innovation In Retail Electric Marketing: Moving Beyond Commodity Price-Based Competition

On May 4, 2022, Davis Malm shareholder Rob Munnelly moderated and provided overview remarks for the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA) webinar, “Innovation In Retail Electric Marketing: Moving Beyond Commodity Price-Based Competition.” The webinar covered recent developments affecting the current diversity of residential, business, and municipal/community aggregated offerings in New England, and also highlighted possible regulatory or business changes that might lead to even more choices in the upcoming years. Rob was joined by panelists Ben Chadwick, Executive Director of Constellation Offsite Renewables, Larry Chretien, Executive Director of Green Energy Consumers Alliance, and Stephanie Donner, Chief Legal and People Officer of Inspire Clean Energy.

Rob has been an active participant in NECA events and conferences since 2001. He is currently a member of NECA’s Board of Directors and serves as Co-Chair of the Retail Markets Committee and the Executive Committee as Corporate Secretary.

NECA is New England’s oldest and most broadly-based, non-profit trade association serving the competitive electric power industry. Its purpose is to facilitate an open forum among all electric power stakeholders to foster the development and maturation of competitive power markets.
