Davis Malm attorney Bill Griffin participated in two seminars on issues affecting businesses in various stages of development. The first seminar, “Formation and Initial Operation of Business Enterprises,” offered substantive advice and practical information on forming a new business and choosing the proper business entity. The second seminar, “Advising Ongoing Business Enterprises,” covered the wide ranging issues that affect established businesses. In both seminars, Bill discussed the fiduciary duties of officers, directors and owners in the various stages of a business’s development.

The seminars were offered by the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. and were appropriate for business lawyers. The MCLE is the continuing legal education arm of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association.
