Davis Malm's financial restructuring and bankruptcy team represents debtors, committees of creditors and equity holders, and both secured and unsecured creditors in Bankruptcy Code Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings. We have almost 30 years of experience handling reorganization cases, and the firm's breadth of experience has helped it to successfully negotiate plans of reorganization on behalf of every constituency in a Chapter 11 case. The firm has the skill and depth of understanding to help all parties maximize the value of their respective interests, whether our client is an individual secured creditor interested in maximizing the return on its collateral, an unsecured creditor with lesser but nevertheless important rights, or an equity holder seeking to preserve its "place at the table." We have also represented Chapter 11 trustees appointed by the court, and have successfully confirmed plans of reorganization for each one. Members of the firm have appeared on behalf of clients in federal bankruptcy courts in at least 16 different states and in a number of federal courts of appeals.
