Davis Malm's litigators have a history of winning. Over the years, our trial lawyers have demonstrated the ability to successfully litigate difficult and protracted cases from beginning to end. The landmark Demoulas cases, where our clients were awarded what is believed to be the highest judgment in Massachusetts history, are landmark examples of our proficiency and staying power. But they are unique only in duration and size. We bring to all our cases, in a variety of areas, the same dedication to victory.

For example, our litigators took the lead in resolving a federal Superfund case involving more than 100 defendants. Another of our lawyers was successful in establishing the precedent setting general rule that offers to purchase have a binding effect in residential real estate transactions. In litigation arising out of the sale by our client of two major hospitals, attorneys from the group obtained a large verdict against an international hospital holding company that had defaulted on a substantial aspect of the sale contract. Other important victories have occurred in the area of employment law, including judgments for discrimination against the world's largest accounting firm and against a regional law firm. Our litigators bring to any dispute years of experience and dedication to success extending across a broad array of disciplines.

The attorneys in the group litigate cases in all state and federal courts and administrative agencies. We have extensive litigation expertise in subject areas including:
