Laurie Alexander-Krom practices in the employment law and litigation areas. Laurie advises employers, employees, and business executives in all aspects of employment-related issues and policies including hiring, FMLA leave and ADA compliance, discrimination, wage and hour, employee terminations, and severance agreements. She represents employers and employees at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Equal Opportunity Commission, and state and federal courts. Laurie also has extensive experience representing multistate clients from various areas including the automotive, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, construction, and real estate industries.

Representative Matters


  • Successfully defended Fortune 100 Company in various age, race, gender and handicap discrimination claims brought before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and in state and federal courts.
  • Obtained competitive severance packages on behalf of various business executives.
  • Defended a large restaurant chain against a sexual harassment claim brought by a former employee.
