Laurie Alexander-Krom practices in the Employment Law Group and the Litigation Group. Laurie advises employers, employees, and business executives in all aspects of employment-related issues and policies. She represents employers at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Equal Opportunity Commission, and state and federal courts. Laurie also has extensive experience representing multistate clients from various areas including the automotive, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, construction, and real estate industries.
Laurie counsels clients on hiring, employee discipline and terminations, sexual harassment investigations, discrimination issues, wage and hour issues, compliance with state and federal laws, and other employment related practices. She provides advice to employers concerning employment contracts, employee handbooks and other employee related policies. Laurie regularly provides training for employers with regard to sexual harassment, discipline and discharge, hiring, and discrimination prevention techniques. Prior to joining Davis Malm, Laurie was an associate in the Labor and Employment Group at Murtha Cullina LLP. Representative Matters
