Practice Focus and Experience
Carol Cohen's practice involves civil litigation in state and federal courts. Her cases have dealt with many areas of the law, including antitrust, licensing, franchises, fiduciary duties, contracts, including employment contracts, shareholder derivative suits and RICO. In addition to her litigation skills, Carol has experience in corporate transactional law, which she brings to bear in structuring settlements and proposed judgments. Carol also represents individuals and companies in disputes concerning business and family relationships. She was part of our team that represented the winning plaintiffs in the famous and infamous Demoulas litigation. These cases were resolved over a ten-year period and are believed to have resulted in the largest judgment ever achieved in Massachusetts history.
